Culinary Use
Herbs and spices sold from this web site are solely for culinary use. It is well known that many herbs and spices have medicinal properties, but those we sell are grown for culinary use and may be of a different variety to those sold for medicinal use, so we make no claim whatsoever for any health benefit. Cooling-off period
By law, you have the right to withdraw from purchase within 7 days after the order is delivered to you. You must return products to us in an unopened and unused condition to receive a full refund of your original payment including postage. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of return postage.
Faulty/ incorrect goods? Please notify us within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will refund your money or provide replacements (as you prefer). Goods must be returned to us and we will refund to you the cost of returning goods at standard Royal Mail rates.
We are not responsible for faults after 7 days of receipt. However, we want you to be happy with your purchase and will consider complaints made within 30 days of the date you placed your order. The decision to supply replacement goods is at our discretion depending on the nature of your problem (refunds are not given after 7 days). We are not responsible for faults that develop through incorrect storage of herbs and spices, or other food products, in your home.
Price
The price of the goods quoted on the web site at the date of order will be the price charged. Most food is zero rated for VAT, but prices shown include VAT where applicable.

We will charge your credit or debit card when you place your order. How to pay by cheque
Online payment is quick and very secure but we acknowledge that some people still prefer to pay for goods by cheque. You will find a PDF form

If you are not sure how much to pay please ring us first as a mistake will delay your order. Your order will not be despatched until after your cheque has cleared, which can take 5 or more working days.

We have made a decision not to accept payment by credit cards over the phone. Payment by phone requires a customer to disclose their full credit card details and we prefer not to hold any sensitive financial information of this nature. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Postage charges and delivery You are deemed to have accepted the postal charges and delivery method stated when you place an order. Delivery is by Royal Mail and the service provisions published by them at date of order apply. Any delay to Royal Mail services are outside our control. Weights
As herbs and spices are natural products stated weights may not be exact. Amounts are stated conservatively so are more likely to be over, than under, the stated weight.
Availability
We expect to dispatch your order within 24-48 working hours. We will inform you by e-mail if any items you order are out of stock and provide you with estimated dispatch details.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect information from you in order to process your order, but will never pass this information to third parties. We do not see any of your financial information when you place an order, and are merely notified that payment has been successful.
